Discover the most iconic spots in the centre of Valencia and round off your visit with a tasting of local wines
If your cruise calls at Valencia, we make it easy for you to explore the city without having to organise transport or work out how to get back to the ship.
You We’ll pick you up at the port and, on the way into town, we’ll stop for a a brief stop to enjoy one of its best-known images: the City of Arts and Sciences.
We’ll then swap modern Valencia for the streets of the old town. With a local guide you’ll take a stroll around the area near the The Central Market, the Fish Market and the Church of Los Santos Juanes, and you’ll delve into El Carmen for its medieval squares and streets. As you move from one stop to the next, you’ll discover how trade, agriculture and wine have been part of the town’s history.
The walk ends at the PROAVA Winery, a 13th-century medieval wine cellar tucked away in the heart of the El Carmen neighbourhood. Once you’ve explored this place, it’ll be time for a wine tasting 3 Valencian wines paired with a selection of local produce: cheeses, cured meats, traditional salted fish and a sweet treat to finish.
When we’re finished, we’ll take you back to the port. We’ll coordinate the departure time with your boat’s timetable so that you can enjoy Valencia at your leisure and get back in time.
This is the usual itinerary; however, it may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control. In that case, we will let you know in advance.
Duration: Approximately 4 hours–4 hours 30 minutes, including travel time.
Meeting point: Valencia harbour, next to the boat or at the authorised meeting point, which we will confirm with you before the excursion.

At the port of Valencia. We will confirm the exact meeting point before the excursion, depending on where your boat docks and the authorised access points.
We can visit the Central Market if time allows, although this will be an outdoor tour of the Mercado and El Carmen neighbourhoods. Admission to the Lonja is not included.
You can cancel free of charge within the period indicated on the product sheet. After the deadline or in case of no-show, no refund will be made.
