After two hours of travel along the Levantine coast, we will arrive at this imposing walled city built vertically.
A real medieval gem!
A local guide will guide us through our tour and start climbing the steep cobbled streets so characteristic of Morella.
We will meet in the historic castle that crowns the town.
Did you know that among its guests is the Cid Campeador?
As we enter this Islamic fortress built in the 12th century, we will discover the importance it acquired for the Crown of Aragon.
Afterwards, we will leave you free time to continue exploring Morella at your leisure and taste the local gastronomy as well as admire the different local craft stalls.

- Peñíscola
After lunch, we will head east until we reach Peñíscola. The city of: The Pope Moon.
Here we will discover the castle, located at the top of a rock on the sea. This fortress served as a palace and personal library for the famous Pope Luna, one of the most controversial religious in the history of Spain.
After our visit to the old town of Peñíscola, which houses samples of the Muslim, Roman and Templar architecture, we will visit out places of interest like the house of the shells and the buffador.
We will follow the route of the old wall that protected the city.
After a full day of exploring these two locations, we will return to Valencia hotels.

For the visit to Morella and Peñíscola we will pick you up at around 7:00 a.m. (we will send a confirmation message the day before to confirm) at the meeting point you choose and we will head north towards Morella.

- Torres de Serranos (in front of Hotel Puerta Serranos)
- Ciudad de la justicia (point close to the city of Arts and Sciences), Avenida del Profesor López Piñero, 14, where the bus stop is
Indicate the preferred pick-up point in notes at the time and make the reservation.
This excursion includes: pick up, transfers, official guide throughout the journey, official local guide in Morella with their respective guided tour as well as entrance fees to the main buildings (castle, cloister and basilica), guided tour of the old town of Peñíscola and an unforgettable experience.
Not included: drinks, meals, anything else not mentioned in the description.
Tips before going: comfortable shoes, keep in mind that the cobblestone streets are not easy. A light sweater (if in spring-summer) and warm clothing in autumn and winter are recommended at any time of year.
