The trace of the Roman Empire
The visit begins in the heart of Sagunto: its old quarter.
Here is a museum with invaluable information: inside you will findpieces and figures that date back to the 8th century BCand that belong to many different cultures (Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Iberians…)
We will continue touring the peculiar old town of the city to reach the imposing Roman Theater, one of the symbols that characterizes Sagunto.
Did you know that it holds the title of the first National Monument of Spain? It is not for less! You will be amazed by the layout of the stage, the stands and the acoustic conditions of the theatre.
After this we will continue to finish at the top of the Castle.
After strolling through this city steeped in history, of great relevance in the Mediterranean, you will continue exploring Sagunto by visiting the Via Augusta: the Roman ruins in the heart of the city of Sagunto.
Around 13:30 our adventure will end.
Choose how do you want to do it
1.- Guided tour on foot, going on your own (by train or by car it is very easy to get there)
If you choose this option, the meeting point is: Sagunto Train Station (9:40 a.m.)
2.- Guided Tour + Transportation
In this option we will meet in Valencia at any of the points indicated below. (It does not guarantee that it will be private only with your reservation, you would have to reserve the private way)
We start picking up at 08:30 a.m.
We pick you up and take you back to Valencia*
