North Station
The North Station is a jewel of Valencian modernism, an iconic entrance to the city that combines transport functionality with an exquisite decoration of mosaics, ceramics and traditional motifs.
The Estación del Norte, located next to the Plaza de Toros, is a masterpiece of Valencian modernism that was inaugurated in 1917. Designed by Demetrio Ribes, its façade surprises with an explosion of color, where traditional motifs such as orange and orchard Valencian adorn the ceramics that cover the building. Its interior is no less spectacular: mosaics, stained glass and woodwork create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a tribute to the Valencian identity. Despite being a fully functioning railway station, it is also an architectural landmark that reflects the character of the city. The North Station is much more than a place of passage; It is a welcome to Valencia that captivates with its beauty and history.
