Towers<\/strong>, This proclamation is known as the\u00a0<strong><em>crida<\/em><\/strong>, all the falleros and falleras (and valencianos and valencianas!) get together to start the festivities with an afternoon full of joy.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>From this moment on, the palpable Fallas events begin,\u00a0<strong><em>masclet\u00e1s\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>at noon,\u00a0<em>masclet\u00e1s\u00a0<\/em>night parades, parades, marching bands, parade of the\u00a0<em>ninot<\/em>... and in the week of<strong>\u00a015 to 19 February is the peak of the Fallas festivities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>On the evening of 15 March, the\u00a0<em>plant\u00e1<\/em>\u00a0of all adult failures.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>In Valencia there are more than 350 casales falleros, and each casal plants 2 fallas, one for children and one for the adult commission, both (and all of them, more than 700) will be burnt on the night of the 19th March, the day of\u00a0<strong>Saint Joseph, patron saint of carpenters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The festivities as such began to take shape in 1920, but the tradition of burning a bonfire dates back much earlier.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>In the 17th century, the carpenters' workshops took out the old junk that was no longer useful and set fire to it, a way of letting go of the past to start a new year.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!--
