Discover the Parc Miner del Maestrat and the medieval charm of Culla on a family-friendly excursion from Valencia, away from the crowds.
This full-day excursion from Valencia is perfect for those who want to discover an authentic inland area, away from mass tourism and in an ideal setting for families.
The day begins with a visit to the Parc Miner del Maestrat, where you will learn through a guided tour what mining activity in the area was like. It is an educational and engaging experience, designed for both adults and children to enjoy and learn at the same time.
Afterwards, we head to Culla, a charming medieval village in the interior of Castellón. Accompanied by our guide, we will walk through its streets and visit some of its most representative sites, such as the old prison, the parish church, and the old hospital, where a recreation of a traditional rural school is preserved.
At the end of the guided visit, you will have free time for lunch in the village. You can do so on your own or, if you prefer, we can help you arrange a reservation at a local bar.
A relaxed, cultural, and very complete excursion, designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace, learn about the area's history, and return to Valencia in the afternoon with the feeling of having discovered a lesser-known place.
