Make the most of your stopover to explore Peñíscola without having to worry about organising transport, tickets or meals.
We’ll pick you up at the port of Valencia and travel directly to this walled city on the Mediterranean coast. There, you’ll explore the old town with an official guide, amongst white-washed alleyways, city walls and viewing points. You’ll visit the Casa de las Conchas and some of the locations that were transformed into Meereen during the filming of Game of Thrones.
After that, you’ll visit the Pope Luna’s Castle, with admission included. Discover the history of this Templar fortress, once the residence of Pope Benedict XIII, and enjoy the sea views.
To finish off, you’ll have a Mediterranean cuisine with a set menu at a restaurant overlooking the sea. We will then return to the port of Valencia. We will organise the timetable for the excursion to suit your ship’s port of call.
Approximate duration: 8 hours.
It includes: Pick-up and return to the port of Valencia, return transport, official guide, guided tour of Peñíscola, admission to the Castillo del Papa Luna and a set-menu lunch.

To organise your stopover: Please let us know the name of the boat and its scheduled arrival and departure times. We will confirm your pick-up time before the tour. The order of the visits may vary to suit the boat’s timetable and the operating arrangements at the castle and the restaurant.

Yes, although it is worth bearing in mind that the old town of Peñíscola has steps and slopes. It is not recommended for people with reduced mobility or with injuries that prevent them from walking normally.
