Iniciamos nuestra travesía en las Torres de Serranos para explorar los sitios más emblemáticos de Valencia, una joya a orillas del mar Mediterráneo que guarda siglos de historia. Daremos los primeros pasos hacia el corazón de la ciudad, descubriendo las antiguas murallas que abrazaron Valencia a lo largo de los años. Nos adentraremos hacia el casco antiguo para desentrañar los secretos arquitectónicos que dan vida a este rincón mágico.
Empezamos nuestro paseo por el gótico valenciano con la Iglesia de San Nicolás. Conocida como la «Capilla Sixtina Valenciana», destaca por la mezcla de su estructura gótica y la decoración barroca de 2000 m2 de frescos pintados por Dionís Vidal. ¡Una experiencia visual que no olvidarás!
Continuaremos nuestro recorrido hacia la Lonja de la Seda, un edificio gótico declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco. Una obra maestra del gótico que te cautivará por su majestuosa arquitectura con elementos propios del gótico valenciano como las columnas helicoidales o las bóvedas de crucería.
Llegaremos a la Catedral-Metropolitana de Valencia, donde cuenta la leyenda que se custodia una de las reliquias más sagradas del cristianismo: el Santo Cáliz. ¿Será verdad? ¡Averigüémoslo juntos!
Nuestro tour finalizará en la Plaza de la Virgen, el centro neurálgico de la ciudad. Allí admiraremos la Basílica de la Virgen María de los Desamparados, patrona de Valencia, y conoceremos el funcionamiento del Tribunal de las Aguas, el tribunal civil más antiguo de Europa en funcionamiento continuo.
