The 12 August 2026 The sky will treat us to one of the most extraordinary astronomical phenomena of the century: a total solar eclipse visible from Spain. A natural spectacle that will turn day into night for a few minutes – and one that we won’t see again in our country in this form for many years to come.
For such a special occasion, we have put together a unique experience at Requena, a land of centuries-old vineyards and the birthplace of some of the finest wines and cavas in the Valencian Community. Surrounded by unrivalled scenery, you’ll experience the eclipse from a rural winery nestled amongst the vineyards, toasting with cava, sampling excellent wines and savouring local produce whilst witnessing one of the most eagerly awaited astronomical events of our generation.
More than just a day out, it will be a memory to last a lifetime.
We’ll start with a a welcome glass of cava and a tasting of 3 wines paired with local produce (grape juice for the little ones). You’ll enjoy a guided tour of the winery and their historic underground cellars and, when the time comes, we’ll experience the total solar eclipse with approved glasses (ISO 12312-2 standard) included to ensure safe observation of 100%.

Yes. Each participant will receive glasses certified in accordance with ISO 12312-2, which are essential for viewing the eclipse without risk to your eyesight. You may only look directly at the sun whilst wearing the glasses; outside the totality phase, you must wear them at all times.
You’ll be able to spot the guide at the meeting point – they’ll be wearing their official guide badge. You can ask for Valencia&Go, and if you can’t find them, please contact us directly via WhatsApp.
Return transport from Valencia, an official tour guide, a welcome glass of cava, a tasting of three wines paired with local produce, a guided tour of the winery and its underground cellars, and approved eclipse-viewing glasses.
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. If you cancel after this deadline or fail to turn up, no refund will be given.
