Known as the Tuscany of Valencia for its landscapes of vineyards and valleys, this region will captivate you with a winemaking tradition that dates back to the 7th century BC, one of the oldest in the world. A paradise for wine lovers where you can delight in the diversity of flavours offered by the Designation of Origin Utiel-Requena.
On our excursion to the wineries of Utiel and Requena we will take you to explore the villages where this exceptional Valencian wine is produced. We will visit the fields of vineyards and you will discover the wine making process, The grapes can be tasted from the vines themselves in August and September, and participate in the grape treading during the month of October.
The vineyards of Utiel-Requena is a treat for the senses, a visual symphony of natural beauty and serenity. A sprawling landscape of green and gold hues that change with the seasons, from lush spring to the golden autumn of the grape harvest. Rolling hills and mountains embrace the vineyards, offering majestic panoramas with picturesque villages scattered throughout. A place to unwind and immerse yourself in the harmony of land and wine.
Our first stop will be at the emblematic Historic Murviedro Winery, located in the heart of the picturesque old town of Requena. Here, we will discover their enigmatic underground caves, The wine cellar, a 12th century legacy originally used to store wine and foodstuffs in optimal conditions thanks to its constant temperature. In these fascinating surroundings, you will enjoy a guided tour which includes the tasting of an exquisite wine inside the caves.
In addition, the experience continues in the main tasting room, where you will be able to taste another two wines accompanied by a delicious appetizer.

Unique in its setting, you will find yourself amidst vineyards of immense beauty surrounding an authentic, well-preserved village of yesteryear. This modernist cellar from 1876 has been passed down from generation to generation, preserving the tradition, know-how and love of wine to produce the best wines in the area. You will feel at home here surrounded by nature and tranquillity, while you enjoy a guided tour by the imposing farmhouse and you end up delighting a tasting of 3 Valencian wines in the gardens accompanied by local cured meats and cheeses.
