The most unknown wine in the world is in Valencia (and this is how you can taste it)

When we talk about Spanish wines, the first thing that comes to mind is usually Rioja or Ribera del Duero. But in the heart of the Valencian Community, an indigenous, ancient and surprising grape is grown: the Bobal. A wine with body, personality and a lot of history... although very few know it.

And that makes it even more special. Here's how you can try it out.

Bobal: the hidden treasure of Valencian wine

Native to the region Utiel-Requena, the Bobal is a red grape variety with centuries of tradition. It is perfectly adapted to the Mediterranean climate and gives rise to intense wines, with fruity notes and refreshing acidity. Despite its enormous potential, for years Bobal has been the forgotten grape on the international wine scene.

But that is changing. Today, small family wineries are recovering the identity of this wine with careful production, sustainable processes and high quality oenological proposals.

Why should you try Bobal wine at least once in your life?

Because it's not just a drink, is the liquid history of a land that has managed to remain authentic. Bobal does not seek to impress with flashy labels or global campaigns. honest flavour, its rustic character and its link to the territory. Each glass speaks of centuries of tradition, of family grape harvests and of a wine culture that deserves to be discovered.

In addition, its low sulphite content and the artisanal way in which it is produced in many wineries make it one of the most popular wines in the world. natural and healthy option for the most curious palates.
